My name is Chase Daugherty - owner and operator of Delta Drift Marine.

I was born and raised here in Stockton, some of my earliest and best memories were made on these Delta waterways. Weekends were spent on the water with family and friends. we did everything from tubing, knee boarding, wakeboarding. we ran the main channel, and cut off into quiet backwater spots when the water was glass. Summers revolved around the marina, long days in the sun, and the simple excitement of being out on the Delta.

Those experiences shaped more than just good memories. they shaped my respect for boat ownership.

I learned that from watching my dad. He took real pride in his boat and in doing things the right way. I watched him handle everything from basic upkeep and cleaning to mechanical work and repairs. What stuck with me wasn’t just what he knew how to do. It was the care, patience, and responsibility he brought to owning a boat. That mindset Resonated with me.

Years later, after building a career in sales, I found myself at a crossroads. In 2025, after being laid off, I returned home to Stockton and spent a lot of time walking Village West marina near where my parents live. Day after day, I watched boats come and go, owners smiling, families heading out on the water. Those walks brought back a sense of calm, clarity, and purpose that I hadn’t felt in a long time.

That’s where Delta Drift Marine began…

I started this company on a simple belief: Delta boat owners deserve consistent, dependable care from someone who truly understands life on the water here. Not a volume-based operation. Not rushed work. No gimmicks. no fluff. Just honest, marina-friendly service done right.

Delta Drift Marine is owner-operated by design. I’m hands-on, detail-driven, and personally invested in every boat I get my hands on. Whether it’s routine cleaning, detailing, dockside maintenance, or ongoing care. my focus is always the same - readiness, reliability, and respect for your investment.
